Sports & Swim Basketball Basketball Ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-10 Learn and master the basics of passing, dribbling and shooting and practice your offense and defense in fun scrimmages. Register Youth Basketball League Ages 6-18 The Dodge Y's Youth Basketball League emphasizes the importance of having fun and playing basketball, while also developing social skills and learning about healthy lifestyles. Register Multi-Sport Kindersports, Jr. Ages 18-24 months An opportunity for your child to explore the world of sports and early fitness through fun exercises, games, songs and stretching. Our young athletes develop hand-eye and foot-eye coordination and gross motor skills, like running and jumping through a series of activities. Classes require active parental or caregiver support. Register Fit Kids Class (CATCH) Looking for a fun class that gets kids moving? Try CATCH! Building strong and healthy kids is the Y’s top priority. CATCH offers kids the opportunity to get silly, get sweaty, and develop lifelong healthy habits. CATCH classes consist of group games and activities using balls, parachutes, hoops, and more! Soccer Soccer Jr. Ages 2-5 An introduction to the game of soccer designed to help your little one learn about teamwork and basics of soccer through age-appropriate activities. Register Soccer Spikes Ages 3-5, 6-8 An energetic program that emphasizes teamwork and positivity through exercises designed to familiarize young players to the game of soccer with age-appropriate teaching tools and drills. Register Swim Lessons Ages 6 months+ The Y has swim classes for all ages and abilities. Find a class that’s right for you. See Classes Tennis Ages 3-5, 6-8 Young kids learn to play with kid-sized racquets, slower and lower-bouncing balls, and older students are taught fundamental and advanced techniques of groundstroke, volley, and overhead strokes. Register Private One-on-One Lessons Participants are coached according to their age and skill level. Classes are one hour in length. Sports offered include basketball, soccer, tennis and t-ball. This class can improve, posture, flexibility, balance, motor skills and rhythm for your little ones. Ballet is also the foundation for other types of dance, such as hip hop, jazz and modern dance. Register Rumble Tumble Rumble Tumble Ages 18-36 months This class develops motor skills and movement awareness through stretching, tumbling, wiggling through our obstacle course, ball play and songs in a structured but exciting gym environment. Requires active parental or caregiver support. Register Rumble Tumble Jr. Ages 6-17 months A simpler version of its older sibling, this class offers younger children a safe space to walk, tumble, climb, jump, explore movement and song. Requires active parental or caregiver support. Register Rumble Tumble Extreme Ages 3-5 This class is Rumble & Tumble to the next level! Children engage in acrobatics tricks, tumbling, flexibility and strengthening, through a series of warm ups, exercise, drills, and tumbling stations. Although we always welcome guardian participation, this class allows the child to socialize with children their own age and learn how to separate from caregivers. Register Toddler Time Ages 2-5 This is an open play time where you and your child can enjoy movement and mobility skills, while playing with others and building strong bodies with a range of activities. $15 per child for community members, free with a family membership! See Schedule Music, Art, and Education Science Mad Science Little Scientists Ages 2-5 Each class is an intensive integrative, age-appropriate exploration of a specific science topic. Every theme-program is designed to captivate the curious nature of young children. Some of the topics we'll explore are Listen Closely, Adventures in Air and Space Frontiers, Taste and Smell. Register Drumming, Percussion & Sing Along Drumming 4 KidZ Ages 18 months-4 years The classes are facilitated using a variety of different approaches including: music instruction, interactive engagement, hands on practice, drumming and rhythm, storytelling, symbolic imagery, music, singing, dance, and group work. Register Arts & Crafts Little Painters Ages 16 months-5 years Your little one can join us for mixing paints and using crayons and markers, while learning basic drawing skills.
